Shaping the Sound
The sounds in this collection are provided as 24-bit / 44.1 kHz WAV files and offer plenty of room for transformation. Chop, rearrange, or distort the loops and FX phrases to reconstruct patterns, reshape musical elements, and create new variations.
Creative Process
To create UNDERGROUND TECHNO LOOPS, we selected several hardware synthesizers and drum machines, including the Access Virus TI2, Yamaha AN200 and DX200, JoMoX XBase 999, and Korg Electribe MKII. We carefully sampled synth sounds, drum sounds, and complete loops from these machines.
We then deconstructed and restructured this material before layering and reassembling the elements to build the final loops. Finally, the sounds were processed using a selection of high-end studio effects.
