Creative Process

For ALTERED ZONE – DARK AMBIENT SAMPLES, we started with recordings from drum machines, grooveboxes, and synthesizers, then reshaped them through extensive sound design. The sounds were created using high-end hardware synthesizers including the Access Virus C, Waldorf Blofeld, Roland SH-201, Yamaha AN200 and Yamaha DX200.

Each sound was then processed through custom effect chains including saturation, modulation, time-stretching, and psychoacoustic stereo widening, among others. From these transformed sources, the material was fully broken apart, fragmented, and precisely rebuilt to create original experimental loops and textures.
