How do I access the files after purchase?

After payment, your files are available right away in your customer account, under the heading Your orders. Open the order to download the ZIP files. The confirmation email also gives you access to the order.

How compatible are the sounds?

The sounds available are compatible with all DAWs and video editing software that supports the WAV format. They are also suitable for video games developed withmost game engines and middleware. However, it may be necessary to convert them to 44.1 or 48 kHz.

What’s included in the demo?

The demo contains only a selection of the individual sounds included in the pack. No additional effects or editing have been applied to the demo.

With its aggressive military sci-fi identity, this library delivers ready-to-use material for cyberpunk, dystopian, and post-apocalyptic worlds.

What’s Inside

ANNIHILATION – MECH SOUND EFFECTS includes 184 designed sounds. You’ll find heavy footsteps, mechanical movement sequences, mechanisms, and metallic textures. The pack also includes operational and communication sounds, such as alerts, warnings, system feedback, data transmissions, and malfunctions, along with robotic vocalizations.

Beyond weapon mechanisms, heavy machine gun and rotary cannon fire make up the pack’s primary firepower. The destruction sounds include explosions, wall impacts, broken glass, stone debris, and dust. You’ll also find deep, dense hybrid mechanical and synthetic textures structured into sequenced patterns, designed to evoke armored colossi capable of crushing everything in their path.

All sounds are named according to their content and organized for easy browsing.

Creative Possibilities

ANNIHILATION – MECH SOUND EFFECTS lets you deploy heavily armed robotic units in hostile environments. Create a riot-control unit advancing through a megacity, an assault mech engaged on the battlefield, or a mech boss capable of smashing through a building to reach its target. Break through walls, shatter windows, and send dust and debris flying in its wake.

Build a military techno-thriller around a ground war against alien forces, or a dystopian story dominated by an AI that has spiraled out of control. Gladiator mechs can clash in arenas, while mechanical monsters can be deployed to crush a human rebellion. The sounds can be used as they are or as building blocks for your own designs. Experiment with layering sounds and varying their combinations to create an unlimited number of variations and develop fully customized machines.

Shaping the Sound

The sounds in this collection are provided as 24-bit / 96 kHz WAV files, allowing for extensive manipulation while maintaining excellent clarity. Twist, fracture, or crush the sounds to create new variations and push the material far beyond its original form.

Behind the Scenes

Straight out of our R&D workshops, this collection was developed by our award-winning sound design team using mechanisms and metallic textures recorded in metalworking facilities and auto salvage yards. We also recorded firearms, including Desert Eagle and Beretta pistols. We also recorded the electromagnetic fields of smartphones, laptops, broken toys, and salvaged electric motors.

Additional elements were created using hardware synthesizers, including the Access Virus TI2, Waldorf Blofeld, and Nord Modular G2. These different sources were then deconstructed, recomposed, and extensively transformed to achieve the synthetic, heavy, and aggressive character of ANNIHILATION – MECH SOUND EFFECTS.
