The sounds available are compatible with all DAWs and video editing software that supports the WAV format. They are also suitable for video games developed withmost game engines and middleware. However, it may be necessary to convert them to 44.1 or 48 kHz.

Generate an endless range of new sounds by editing and layering the sounds in ABANDONED LABS – DARK CINEMATIC SAMPLES. Provided as 24-bit / 44.1 kHz WAV files, the samples can be reworked directly within your workflow. Corrode, degrade, or saturate the source material to create new variations.

Creative Process

To create this collection, we worked with several hardware synthesizers, including the Alesis Fusion, Waldorf Blofeld, Korg OASYS, and Roland V-Synth GT, along with recordings of cracks, creaks from various materials, and metallic textures. We also captured electrical arcing and hums around substations and high-voltage transmission towers. All of this material was then processed and transformed to shape the sounds in the pack.
